Healthy Children

It is every parent’s nightmare to see their child unwell.  Little ones will often succumb and get sick quite quickly but happily, due to their natural innate vitality, will also recover just as quickly especially when given the right treatment and support.

Babies and children respond exceptionally well to nutritional and natural medicines.  Importantly, natural medicines can be used not only to deal with the symptoms of acute and chronic conditions but also as a preventative measure to support your child’s immune system and build robust good health.

Child’s health status for life is established in childhood so it makes good sense to address any illness as quickly as possible, to encourage healthy body responses and prevent chronic conditions from occurring.

My approach to ‘Kideology’ can help your baby or child in the following way:

  • Preparation for and the establishment of breast feeding
  • Early feeding issues
  • Weaning, introduction of solids
  • Optimising childhood nutrition
  • Fussy eaters
  • Gastrointestinal problems such as infections, recurrent diarrhoea or constipation
  • Eczema, rashes, cradle cap
  • Immunisation support
  • Recurrent infections and compromised immunity e.g. respiratory, ear infections, tonsillitis, coughs, colds & flu, asthma
  • Allergies & intolerances
  • Sleep problems
  • Behavioural and attention disorders.

Naturopathic treatment supports the rebuilding of your child’s innate health and natural defences.  I generally use a combination of dietary suggestions, nutritional medicines, herbal and homoeopathic medicines and will give you simple strategies to keep your child healthy.
